These Stupid People

These people are ignorant—mused the cat. —Their king, Popiel, was eaten by mice.


    And how could he not feel superior to them as a species?


    Yet... they scared him sometimes.


    They fatten their children—for instance, Hansel and Gretel, only to eat them later!


    The male cat looked at his fat belly. He glanced at the bowl full of feline food, and he turned pale with fright.


    My human wants to eat me! That's the point...


    The cat ran away, and for several more months, he came across his image pasted on lampposts.


     - OK, but they want to eat me...
